Black Droppings from Termites in Clearwater and Tampa

Hi, I’m Coby, Coby’s Tentless Termite and Pest Control, helping people in the Tampa Bay area get rid of their termites. And the question has come up, or actually that question, it has been, well, I have dark termite droppings. I know you have termites evidence, but they’re dark, that must mean they’re old. And I Where did you hear that? Oh, well, somebody told me that if I had the had these, that was going to mean that they were old, and that absolutely nothing to do with with that. Now, if you have darker wood, say, for example, you have old heart of pine, the likelihood of it going ahead and being a termite issue, or not termite issue, but the likelihood of it being a darker copper is very high. If you’re dealing with different types of wood. It would make sense that from it comes out, it’s it’s the same color as that. But what you don’t have is, if you think about a a piece of wood in your attic. If it’s a piece of pine or piece of fur that they build it with, you go up there 3040, 50 years later, it’s still white, or it’s still a very light color, even with the heat and everything else that I’d say, it’s not turn black. So age is not anything to do with with the comments. In fact, I’ve had on several occasions, I’ve actually had, and you can probably find these videos I put out. Long time ago, I had purple pellets in a white piece of wood. I thought that was just amazing. Why would there be purple pellets? So there’s something, I’m guessing, with the digestive enzymes of the termite that are actually having that issue, or what they’re noticing. I’m looking at me twitching on this. This is a relatively new thing that I’ve been doing to go ahead and show people instead of just talking about the problem. To give you an example what of what it is you’re looking at. But, but, yeah, so, so the the color has nothing to do with anything that you see them now that has a lot to do with something that does me that you have had a swarm in your neighborhood, and the termites have been there long enough to eat, enough to show a gallery where they push it out. And if you see wings, which will be the next video that we’re going to go ahead and do, then that will give you a much more vindication of how long they’ve been there for, because they have to in order for a dry wood termite colon to swarm. It has to be for a minimum of five years before it’s able to reproduce or produce, I should say, alates or swarming termites. Anyhow, if you have a question about this or anything else, just just give us a call. We’re happy to come out, take a look, see what’s going on. One of the things that I actually have found that we’re pretty proud of, and that is we don’t get I mean, we’ll probably out of the people who call us, less than 50% of them go with our company. And the reason that is is because we’ll tell them, No, you don’t need us. No, this is not necessary. Well, no, you should do a fumigation. No, you shouldn’t we. We, we look at this as if we want to make sure that you are getting the best advice possible. A lot of times that’s just not doing business with us, and we’re okay with that. We’d much rather go ahead and give you that sleep well at night, knowing that we did not push you into something there’s so many times, but they were so aggressive. If you’ve got somebody that’s being aggressive salesperson about termites, you have too much there are going to do damage to your house, and you do need to have it treated. But that does not mean the house is going to fall down or or if you don’t do it soon enough, you have a timetable that you you want to get done, and that’s what’s important is, is how you want to be, what’s good for your schedule and your your your finances, because tournaments are expensive, bottom line. But anyways, you have a question about this or anything else, please give us a call. We’re happy to go ahead and talk to you. And always remember, as long as God keeps making them, we’ll keep killing them.
