And today we are going to talk about what’s biting you. Hi, I Coby with Coby’s Tentless Termite and Pest Control. And today we’re going to talk about, basically, fleas. There’s other things that can bite you in your home, but the most common one is, is probably a flea. And one of the reasons it is a real pain is because your animals also usually get infested by these as well, and then they’re miserable as well as you’re being miserable. So that’s a kind of, a not kind of that is a bad combination. So the fleece cycle goes something like the egg, larva, pupa and adults. So you have the egg. You know what an egg is. Larva, you’re thinking of like a little caterpillar. Pupa is like a little cocoon that you would see on on butterflies. And then instead of this beautiful butterfly, you have this monster that’s behind me that comes out, and you can see that it has these grasping, piercing, sucking mouth parts that that Pierce in there get the blood, and that’s how they are able to feed their young. In fact, all of the piercing sucking things are not just feeding to feed, but feeding to to regenerate. Anyhow. That being said, the best way to take care of these is probably to treat your animal. Now, there are cases where, and this is what I ran into today. There are cases where you don’t have any animals, so then you’re the food source. Now that can be from a place that was infested and or had animals, and then you they left, and after they left, then they can lay dormant for a while, and after they adorn for a while. Then as soon as you come in, they feel the vibration, and they go ahead, and they jump right on you, and they start feeding. One of the things you can do is vacuum very thoroughly. That’s going to get a lot of the and then so we, I don’t think there’s nearly as many vacuum bags as when I started four years ago. We used to tell people, either put a flea collar in the bag or go ahead and just get rid of the bag. Well, now that it’s almost everything’s done by treating the animal, you just don’t usually have anything. Now if you’re trying to go ahead and get the fleas off of you, then the pest control service definitely can help. But if you’re trying to get them off your animal that’s that’s bathing, there’s a bunch of different things you can use, things like head and shoulders. Dawn baby shampoo works except really well. They can all help. Of course, you have multiple flea products that you can go to the store and purchase, as well as flea bass. But for all intents and purposes, you’re looking at the application on the animal, as well as the application of the house. And then if it’s real bad, maybe even the surrounding property. It can be bad, especially if you had a lot of wildlife around, possums, raccoons, bunnies, that types worlds, too, any of those can can have an issue with that.
