Termite Inspection
Think you have termites? Here's what happens when we come look.
You found something. Maybe it's a little pile of what looks like sand or coffee grounds on a windowsill. Maybe it's a bunch of wings by the back door. Maybe you pushed on a baseboard and it gave way. Whatever it was, it's why you're here, and that's exactly the kind of call we want.
What we're actually coming to do
This isn't a walk-through where we poke around your whole house hoping to find something to sell you. You already saw something. Our job is to look at what you found, tell you what it is, and tell you what it takes to fix it.
Here's how that goes. First we look at the spot you called about. Then we figure out what made it. Those little piles are usually drywood termite droppings. A mud tube running up your slab or wall is subterranean termites, and they don't leave piles at all. Wings with no bodies means something swarmed, and that could be termites or it could be flying ants. They look a lot alike until you know what to look for. Then we follow it. Termites rarely stay in one spot, so we check how far it goes before anybody talks about a treatment.
Then we tell you what we'd do. Straight.
Sometimes the answer isn't us
Here's the part most companies won't put on their website. Sometimes the right answer is fumigation. We treat drywood termites without tenting, and in most homes that's the better fix. But there are houses where we'll look you in the eye and say you need to tent, and we'll tell you why.
Sometimes it's not termites at all. It's ants, or it's old damage from a problem somebody already fixed years ago. When that's the case, we'll tell you that too, and you won't owe us a thing.
What we don't do
Why waiting isn't a good plan
Your price doesn't go up if you wait. We price the job on the size of your house, not on how many colonies we find. What does go up is the damage. Termites eat every day. The wood they eat doesn't come back, and the longer they're in there, the more of it you're paying a carpenter to replace. So if you saw something, it's worth finding out now.
Who's coming out
It's a father and son business. I've been in the pest control business since 1986, started this company in 2002, and we've been treating termites without a tent since 2003. My son Austin has run our termite work since 2013. It's more than 2,500 termite jobs at this point. Whoever comes to your house has seen your problem before, probably a few hundred times.
What customers say
"From the initial phone call for information, to the consult and actual treatment of the house, everyone at Coby's has been nothing short of amazing. Top notch customer service from the owner, not a contractor, is so hard to find. I did not have to move out, there was no nasty odors and an automatic guarantee for retreating if termites come back! I would (and have) recommended Coby without hesitation!"
— Jennifer Jordan"Great job at a great price! We noticed some termite signs in our home and called Coby. He showed up right on time and gave us an estimate of the cost of the work to be done. He gave the rest of the home a very thorough inspection and came back a few days later and took care of our termite problem. We couldn't be happier!"

If you're not sure what you're looking at, take a picture and text it to us. A lot of the time we can tell you from the photo whether it's worth a visit. If it is, we'll set up a time.
Seen something? Let's find out what it is.
As long as GOD keeps making them, we'll keep killing them.
