Palm Harbor Pest Control and Termite Treatment: No Tent, No Moving Out
Palm Harbor started out as Sutherland. The post office opened there in 1888, the Orange Belt Railway put a depot in by 1890, and the town didn't take the name Palm Harbor until 1925. Walk Old Palm Harbor and you're walking a town that was here long before the subdivisions.
The inspection is free. We come out, look at what you've actually got, and tell you straight. If it turns out you don't have termites, we'll tell you that too, and you're out nothing.
Two kinds of old
Palm Harbor has two housing stories. There's the old core down around the Pinellas Trail, which is the old Orange Belt rail bed. Then there's everything else. Palm Harbor had 5,215 people in 1980 and 50,256 by 1990. That's most of the town built in one decade.
So what does that mean for termites? A house framed in 1986 has sat through every swarm season since. Drywood termites live inside the wood, not under it, and they don't knock. A colony can be in an attic or a window frame for years before anybody sees a pellet. Out by Lake Tarpon and along St. Joseph Sound, the moisture brings the subterranean kind up from the ground instead.
You don't have to leave
The thing people hate about tenting isn't the cost. It's three days out, food bagged, pets boarded, and tarps over the landscaping they spent years on.
Tenting works and sometimes it's right. We'll tell you when it is. But nothing stays in the wood afterward. Our whole house tentless treatment, which we've been doing since 2003, puts borate into the wood where it stays, so the house keeps defending itself. You sleep at home every night of it.
Worth asking any company: whole house, or just the spot?
Roaches, ants, the rest
Lansbrook, Highland Lakes, and the older streets off Alt 19 all have big trees and heavy landscaping, which is exactly the cover palmetto bugs use to reach a wall. German roaches are their own long haul. Ants vary by species and get handled that way.
Regular service builds a treated band around the foundation, roughly four to six feet of it counting wall and ground, plus eaves, mulch beds, and shrubs.
What it runs
Termites price on square footage under roof, garage and porch counted. Your specific house moves the number, so I won't guess at it by phone. General pest depends on the property and what's around it.
The guarantees
On termite work: if the bugs come back, so do we. Retreat at no additional cost inside the warranty year, carryable for life.
On general pest control: one hundred percent happy or you don't pay a penny.

Here's the honest reason not to sit on it. A drywood colony takes about five years to get big enough to throw swarmers, the winged ones that leave and start new colonies somewhere else in your house. Once that starts, one colony becomes several, and several becomes dozens. Caught early it's a straightforward job. Caught late, I've seen it take years to track them all down. That's not a sales line. That's just how they work.
We're a short drive up 19. Call or text and we'll come look. The look costs you nothing.
As long as GOD keeps making them, we'll keep killing them. You have a great day.
